The U8 is YANGWANG's flagship: a large luxury off-roader driven by four independent electric motors, one per wheel, producing well over a thousand horsepower combined and allowing the vehicle to turn within its own length by driving its wheels in opposite directions. A petrol engine acts purely as a generator to extend range, and an actively controlled suspension system manages body movement on and off road. Everything about it raises the bar for servicing: four drive units and controllers to test, a large high-voltage pack to manage thermally, sealed off-road hardware to inspect and a generator to maintain. EVS services the U8 as a complete system, including diagnostics, scheduled maintenance and warranty-related repair.

Yes. It runs as a generator rather than driving the wheels, but it is still an engine: oil, filters and coolant on schedule, plus checks on its mounts and exhaust system.
Yes, and we recommend it. After heavy off-road driving we inspect underbody protection, seals, suspension components, cooling airflow and the high-voltage pack enclosure, because water and sand ingress is the failure mode that matters on a vehicle like this.
